Job Description: Project Manager at Flexotels
As a Project Manager, you play a crucial role within our team. You’ll lead small to medium-sized productions, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule. Your leadership skills will enable you to effectively manage a team of permanent staff and contractors. A strong helicopter view is essential to maintain oversight and act quickly when needed.
What will you do as a Project Manager at Flexotels?
Your tasks will be diverse and challenging:
- Preparation and Feasibility: Collaborate with the preparatory team to review designs and assess project feasibility.
- Coordination and Project Execution:
- Organize transport and handle loading/unloading with a forklift.
- Identify and resolve operational and logistical challenges.
- Maintain communication with team members, clients, and suppliers to ensure everyone is up to date on progress.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of projects on-site.
- Team Leadership: Manage the operations team, which includes both internal and external staff.
- Off-Season Activities: Coordinate and lead warehouse activities such as maintenance or product upgrades.
- Planning Oversight: Ensure tight adherence to the schedule both during and outside the peak season.

What do we expect from you?
- Education and Skills: Minimum MBO-level education and thinking ability.
- Driver’s License: You hold a valid driver’s license.
- Forklift Certification: You either have a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electrical systems or a willingness to take a course in this area.
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Preferred Language Skills: Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
- Experience: Preferably two years of experience in project management within the events industry.
