Defqon.1
Defqon.1 is one of the largest and the most iconic festival for harder styles of electronic dance music in the world. The event is organised by Q-dance and annually attracts thousands of fans of hardstyle, hardcore, and other hard genres.
Defqon.1 was first held in 2003 and initially took place in Almere. Since 2011, the festival has been held at the Walibi Holland event site in Biddinghuizen. Over the years, the festival has expanded internationally with editions in Australia and Chile but despite this, the Dutch edition remains the most popular. The 4-day festival has over 160.000 day visitors and around 55.000 people who stay-over on the campsite.
Defqon.1 offers extensive camping facilities where visitors can stay throughout the weekend. Around 55.000 people stay-over on the campsite where they offers various types of accommodation.
