Wacken Open Air (DE)

Wacken Open Air (WOA) is one of the largest and most famous heavy metal festivals in the world. It takes place annually in the small village of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Wacken Open Air was first held in 1990 and has since grown from a small local event to an international icon. Where it started with 800 visitors, the festival now attracts more than 75,000 metalhead fans from around the world.

Wacken offers extensive camping facilities for visitors with both standard camping pitches and more luxurious options such as “Metal Tent” and “Residenz Evil” accommodation. Every year, we travel to the north of Germany to build almost 300 Flexotel rooms.

The small Flexotels village inside the Comfort Camping is built in 4 days and after the event we break it down in 2,5 days.
